Runescape Strategies for Players
Runescape Strategies for Players
The land of Gielinoir is home for Runescape that currently has over nine million free players and over one million paid players.
The object of the game is to travel through the many kingdoms, regions and areas of Gielinoir. Some of the modes of travel you can choose from are traveling by foot, using magical teleportation devices, or traveling by mechanical means. Players will encounter a variety of monsters, materials, and quests that will prove to be extremely challenging. Players can choose to battle with other players or monsters. Players can also choose to advance their skills and wait until they are better trained before battling, and then go at it alone.
Follow some of these tips and tricks to hone your skills to quickly advance through the levels.
- Get your attack up to 40 in order to become a good killer. This will allow you to hold the old Rune that will boost your defense up to 10. It is also wise to increase your strength up to 20 or 27 or as high as possible.
- Wherever you go, make sure you have a sleeping bag for when you get low on health. The sleeping bag heals you as you sleep. You are also protected from attacks as you sleep in the sleeping bag.
- You can get a skull without fighting a skeleton by getting one before you start a restless ghost mission. The skull is in the Wizard's Tower in the dungeon. Once you have the skull, talk to a Priest and then you can avoid the skeleton.
- As you are traveling on the road Varrok and are approaching the entrance, you will see a small wooden gate. Do not go through the entrance to Varrok, instead go through the gate on the left and keep walking. There is a small mine here, which most people miss, that contains Iron, Silver, Copper and Clay.
- Once you are skilled enough to start mining you will start to get tired of fighting all the scorpions. Just outside of Lumbridge is a mine, which is safe. Go to the swamp in Lumbridge then go east. When you get to the ocean, go south. You will soon see the mine.
- When you are at Mage or an Archer, which is on one of the harder levels, battling will be easier by shooting from behind a rock.
- Go to Karamja behind Lutha's house to hunt for Air Runes. Behind the house, there will be three Air Runes, since they respawn quickly you'll have close to 200 in thirty minutes.
- The Bronze Dagger can be found at Lumbridge Castle. Once inside, turn to your left, go down the hall past the cooking spot, and then up the ladder. Find the room where the Duke of Lumbridge is and then go in. You will travel to the end of the room where you will see a table. Wait long enough and the Bronze Dagger will appear.
- For those of you up on level 85, do some mining to find the Blue Rune rock.
