When you are a full support healer it's best to enchant with +1 for levels 1-60. After level 60 change to abilities +2. But if you are a nuker it's best to enchant with skills abilities 35-60.
Citrine is sold at a lot of different prices, anywhere from 50 to 200k so shop wisely and use it wisely. If you find a citrine at random the price is lower due to the fact that it was found at random.
When you need to enhance an item, you need to have some kind of enchantment gem. A ruby is an enchantment gem. How many rubies you need depends on how many enchantment options the item has. Keep in mind that there is approximately an 80% success rate with 2 enchantment gems.
Enhancement and enchantment has a cap of 99% so expect to have a 1% fail rate. When using a Sapphire Charm or Emerald Charm, first consider the price of equipment and the percentage that the enhancement will fail which should equal the price of the charm. Before using a Luck Charm for enchantment, consider the percentage of the charm, the price of the gem which should determine the percentage the enchantment will succeed. This will determine the price of the charm.
Most essence's will not respond at lower levels. At lower levels poison is your best choice.
When combining gems remember that Citrine does not apply. A Ruby cannot be combined. Emeralds cannot be combined with Sapphires.
If you are new to the game, keep this in mind as to what each gem does: emeralds are for armor, sapphires are for weapons, citrines are for costumes, amethysts are for armor and weapons and also rubies and topaz is for pets armor.
Make sure you know what each essence does:
- Fire – For a Weapon will ignore 1% of defense when being attacked. For a Robe will ignore 1% attack when defending
- Water – For a Weapon less than a 1% you may reset opponent's Rage gage. For a Robe you will get more Rage from opponent
- Wind – For a Weapon will increase accuracy. For a Robe dodge will increase by 1%.
- Inner Energy – For a Weapon less than 1% increased skill attack damage and opponent may suffer internal injury. For a Robe skill defense is increased by 8.
- Physical Energy – For a Weapon damage is increased by 3, opponent may suffer physical injury. For a Robe defense increases by 3.
Be careful of what the gaming info says according to some very long time players some of the info isn't accurate. For example, enhancements only go up to 80% not 100%, that includes stuff like robes and weapons so be careful. If you try it you will lose your item.
