World of Warcraft or WOW for short is one of the most massive role-playing games online today both in the US and in Europe.

 

With millions of people around the world, playing WOW on a daily basis; the need is even stronger for as many tips and tricks as you can get.

 

When you are a beginner with the game, the first thing you will want to do is get a backpack to collect all the things you will find along your travels, Right. Wrong. The best thing to do is be patient and wait to find one as you travel. You will see them lying around.

 

When you have a ranged weapon, use it to bring out your enemies from hiding. Just shoot straight at them to make them come toward you. Keep firing at the enemy as they come towards you until they are too close to use the ranged weapon. This especially works well when you have a group of monsters and you want to pick them off one by one.

 

Watch out for enemies on patrol. Pay attention and notice that all of them have a certain range they patrol. Stay out of that range but watch out for other enemies that may their own range that overlaps another enemy. Sneak around them by staying close to the mountain line. Do not go around by way of the shoreline or something may jump out and attack.

 

When you encounter a monster, you need to start running. Even though the monster will give chase, they eventually tire out and go back to their areas. If there happens to be a village nearby run to the guards, they will help protect you. Just do not run to other players because the monster might start chasing them.

 

Some weapons, armor and other items have the durability rating that keeps going down the more often you use them. Make sure they stay in top condition by having them totally restored every time you visit a merchant. This is a safety measure you should always use; you never know when you will need one of your weapons.

 

Take advantage of using all of the short phrases when talking with another character. It is easier than deciding what to say. If you are in a guild some of those commands, also work.

 

Notice all floras, signs and various other things along the way. Right click on them to see what they are. You will notice that the cursor will change to a symbol that looks like a gear. 

 

When you are in the beginning levels, enemies will not normally attack you when they see you, so you are reasonably safe. Just stayed focused when you move from the starting area because the further away you get the more chance enemies will begin attacking.

 

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to tips, tricks and strategies for World of Warcraft. If you happen to be with a group there is a good chance they have developed a few strategies of their own. If you are a single player, consider joining a group especially if you are just beginning. There is a better chance you will catch on quicker with others around you.
