Make More Money in Dungeons & Dragons Online
Make More Money in Dungeons & Dragons Online
Once players fully understand the basic methods of making money in Dungeons & Dragons Online, they start looking at items that would be perfect for their character. They find items they want to buy, but realize they are not making money fast enough to be able to afford the items at any point this century. At that point, players begin to look for ways to make more money in Dungeons & Dragons Online, preferably at a much faster rate.
There are several techniques that help maximize earnings in DDO:
- Loot runs. The term “loot runs” means different things to different players, but loot runs are essentially quests that are completed only for the loot. Some loot runs may have easily accessible treasure or be quests that grant loot when the quest is completed. For other loot runs, the treasure may not be as easily accessible, but the loot gained is much higher than the amount of work involved. When making a loot run, the idea is to make more money, and make it quickly. Since the goal is speed and money, don’t bother with disarming traps unless there is a chest there.
- Haggling. Haggling is an excellent way to save money, which can also help you make more money. Some classes, like rogues and rangers, have enhancements that boost their ability to haggle. There are also items in the game that players can equip that will boost their haggling ability. Haggling can help you get a lower price than the selling price for an item, which increases the amount of money you can make if you are reselling it later.
- Pick your buying and selling times. Auctions that close early in the morning or on weekdays tend to have a lower final price than auctions that close on the weekend. By hitting the auction house through the week to buy items, and then selling on the weekend, you can make more money in Dungeons & Dragons Online.
- Choose your prices. When selling items at the auction house, start the auction at or near the lowest price you are willing to accept for the item. This prevents the need to pull auctions, which can anger other players and cause them not to bid on your items in the future. It also ensures that you will be selling the item for no less than you are willing to accept. Also, be sure to set a buyout price for an item. Not all buyers want to wait around for an auction to end, and some buyers need the item immediately. By setting a buyout price, you give buyers the ability to buy your items before the auction ends, which can serve to increase sales.
- Break things. Collectables and other items may be hidden. By breaking everything, you ensure that you will find every item available to you. While you may not need those items, you can sell them to players who need them. If it is a found item, then you make 100% profit on the sale.
Granted, not every technique works for every player on every server, but it only takes one to make more money in Dungeons & Dragons Online.
