- Retail – As in the real world, the avatars in Second Life have wants and needs, making the retail industry a great way to make money. Players can set up shops and booths of any kind to sell their products. Some players create their own items to sell, while others purchase complete business kits or products for their inventory from people who create them. You can make money with anything from clothes to accessories, tattoos to home furnishings.
- Fashion – The fashionistas in Second Life take fashion very seriously, so designing and selling clothing and accessories is an excellent way to make money. There are numerous websites and blogs dedicated to the current fashion trends in Second Life, and anyone interested in the fashion industry needs to check out all of them. Designs will not make you money unless they are selling.
