Make More Money in Lineage II
Make More Money in Lineage II
Once players understand how to quest in order to make money, they begin looking for ways to make more money in Lineage II. Basic questing and waiting for mob drops are not always enough to make money fast enough for players to buy what they need. Fortunately, there are techniques that players can use to make more money in Lineage II.
- Choose mobs wisely. While grinding mobs that spawn quickly is a great way to make money, players can make even more money by being picky about where they grind. While it is true that some mobs drop items that are worth more, grinding for those items typically requires more downtime for the player. During downtime, money is not being made. Instead of going for more valuable drops, go for the less valuable drops that cause less downtime. Being able to grind more leads to making more money, which makes up for not going after the more rare items.
- Repeatable quests. There are several lower level quests in Lineage II that reward players with money, and these quests can be repeated as many times as the player wants to go through them. To make even more money, players can combine multiple quests in the same area, saving time and energy while netting even more money. The low level, repeatable quests can be found in the starter villages. The quests are designed for new players, so players of any level will be able to quickly navigate one or more quests.
- Fishing. Fishing is an excellent option for making more money in Lineage II. While fishing, you may end up with treasure chests, which can either be opened or sold to the Fisherman’s Guild. The Guild holds weekly fishing contests, with cash prizes for those who catch the biggest fish. In addition, winning a fishing contest means you have a prize-winning lure, which increases your chances of catching larger fish.
- Selling and reselling. Selling items that you have picked up along the way is an excellent method for generating 100% profit. If you receive an item, or find one while questing, that you neither want nor need, then it is always a good idea to sell the item for extra money. Players can also buy items very cheaply and then sell the item at a higher price, creating more money in the Lineage II account. You can make even more by selling at a slightly lower price than someone else, and then sitting next to him the whole time.
There is no right or wrong way to make more money in Lineage II, and no one method works for all characters. A dwarf, for example, has the ability to craft, but no other race can make money by crafting. The best way for any character to make more money in Lineage II is to ignore all of the advice, log onto your server, and begin experimenting with the different money-making methods until you find the one that works best with your server.
